So, I’m not sure if that’s the final version of the book cover for Wizard’s Wrath, but it’s close. It fits in well with the new set of covers I recently created for the series. Someday, when I make a bunch of money I don’t need to put into getting a new furnace, I am going to get the covers for the series remade by a top notch professional designer. Until that time, I think the current covers will work just fine. It’s not like that’s what you’re reading the books for, right?
So, here’s the deal with where I’m at with Wizard’s Wrath: I have the beginning of the outline. I haven’t worked on it at all. Everything else seems to be getting in the way. I am a bad, bad author.
However, I am starting to get excited about it now that I’m close to finishing up a bunch of other writing related projects. And excited is good. But at this point, I refuse to give any more tentative publication dates because I haven’t had any luck hitting them.
For those of you who have been waiting patiently for so long, I promise this book will be out long before George RR Martin’s next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire Series. Of course, that is such an easy promise to make it almost seems like not a promise at all. :-)
Let me just tell you that I think the book will definitely be worth waiting for. As it starts to whisper more of itself to me, I can’t help but think that fans of James and Lizbet’s romance will be on tenterhooks throughout the book wondering how it can possibly come out well for those two after everything they’re going to go through. There is so much intrigue to come…
(And let’s not forget: Gnomes!)
